Who we are
We create better health together by making the healthy choice the easier choice.
SHIP is the acronym used by the Minnesota Department of Health when referencing their Statewide Health Improvement Partnership. It is this program that allows the Winona County PartnerSHIP to work on our seven main initiatives.
Our goal is to help our county live longer, healthier, better lives by preventing risk factors that lead to chronic disease, including Type 2 Diabetes, heart disease, obesity, cancer, asthma, COPD, mental health and arthritis to name just a few. We strive to strengthen the capacity of our communities to create their own healthy futures.
